No school absence thanks to sanitary pads

Many girls in Kenya stay at home during their period. They don’t have any sanitary pads which makes it quite uncomfortable to spend a day at school. ICS Africa donated 11.136 sanitary pads to the girls at St. Joseph Girls Primary School, so they don’t have to miss any lesson these coming month

Educational visit to Skillful Parenting project

At the beginning of this week Karisia Gichuke of the Bernard van Leer Foundation visited our Skillful Parenting project in Tanzania. Curious to the onconventional approach of ICS she travelled to Lingeka, a remote area where foreigners and tourists hardly ever come.

Cooperation with make-up artist Tom Sebastian

Tom Sebastian will make use of his expertise on beauty within the project Young Startups in Cambodia. In September Tom Sebastian and ICS signed an official partnering contract. Shortly after that Tom left for Cambodia to meet and brainstorm with the local ICS staff.
