Record number of farmers buy seeds on credit
In western Kenya no less than 15.104 farmers are interested in buying agricultural products on credit. That’s 4 times as many as last year. The farmers have the possibility to buy seeds, fertilizer, chickens and solarlights and pay back in installments.
Knitting on a crosstrainer
ICS feels very lucky with thousands of loyal donors. One of those donors is ms. Van Oosten-Faas (76) from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. While sitting on her crosstrainer(!) she knits piles of socks for children and adults that she sells at markets. She donates the income completely to ICS.
