ICS wins Klaus J. Jacobs Best Practice Prize 2016
ICS-SP, our local ngo that implements the Skilful Parenting program in Kenya and Tanzania, has won the Klaus J. Jacobs Best Practice Prize 2016 "for it's unique model, being an example of best practice, highly relevant for the broader area of child development in deprived rural contexts."
Peak Mount Kenya: check!
These nine heroes from Epe in the Netherlands left for Kenya in the first week of October to start their tough ascent to the top of Mount Kenya. The team raised money through this event for our waterproject in Maai Mahiu. A great accomplishment!
Uhuru Torch shines its light on ICS waterproject
Every year the Uhuru Torch is lighted after which it goes on a long trip throughout Tanzania, to shine its light on special projects and initiatives. At the beginning of October the Uhuru Torch chose our recently finished watertower in Maganzo for it’s next stop!
